About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support V to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Children's Home Care program, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for external stakeholders
- Typing/word processing and formatting of documents, spreadsheets, and graphs to create reports and presentation materials
- Scheduling meetings and complex calendar management
- Financial invoice preparation and site management
- Education, training, and back-up support to other admin staff
- Electronic scheduling of client appointments, client data entry, records management, and related documentation
Requirements:
- Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent formatting, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Ability to deal with numerous interruptions and work independently in a busy multi-tasking environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Continuing Care experience
- Intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Visio, and MS-Project
- Basic knowledge of e-people, Oracle, Home First, and Meditech
