About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support V to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Children's Home Care program, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for external stakeholders
  • Typing/word processing and formatting of documents, spreadsheets, and graphs to create reports and presentation materials
  • Scheduling meetings and complex calendar management
  • Financial invoice preparation and site management
  • Education, training, and back-up support to other admin staff
  • Electronic scheduling of client appointments, client data entry, records management, and related documentation

Requirements:

  • Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent formatting, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to deal with numerous interruptions and work independently in a busy multi-tasking environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Continuing Care experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Visio, and MS-Project
  • Basic knowledge of e-people, Oracle, Home First, and Meditech
