About the Role
The University of Ottawa is seeking a dynamic and experienced instructor to lead our ADM3315A: Social Enterprise Development course. This engaging course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the social enterprise ecosystem, from ideation to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Guide students through the process of developing and validating innovative social business concepts.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops on key aspects of social entrepreneurship, including market analysis, impact assessment, and financial planning.
- Provide mentorship and support to students as they develop their own social enterprise projects.
- Create a stimulating and collaborative learning environment that encourages critical thinking and innovation.
Qualifications
- Possess an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in entrepreneurship or a related field.
- Demonstrate recent professional experience in the social enterprise sector.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of social impact measurement and evaluation methodologies.
- Have excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
