About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Professor to deliver our engaging Enterprise Architecture course (SEG4170A) in the Fall 2024 semester. This role offers an opportunity to share your expertise in enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and tools with motivated students.

Course Overview

This course delves into the world of enterprise architecture, a comprehensive planning approach that aligns the needs of various stakeholders – from society and management to engineering – within both business and government sectors. Students will explore established frameworks and standards, focusing on designing robust enterprise business architectures and developing supporting information systems infrastructure using specialized modeling tools.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive discussions on key enterprise architecture concepts.
  • Guide students in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios through practical exercises and case studies.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student assignments and assessments, fostering their understanding and development.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven experience teaching similar or related courses, or a strong background in relevant industry experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in good standing.
  • A doctorate degree in a field related to the course, or significant relevant work experience in enterprise architecture after obtaining your Ph.D.
