Job Summary:

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development Consultant to drive corporate-wide initiatives that enhance the employee experience and organizational culture. This role involves designing, developing, and executing key initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the research, design, and implementation of organizational development initiatives and solutions.
  • Proactively assess and diagnose organizational needs relative to the strategic needs of the business.
  • Apply a systems thinking approach to problem-solving when developing solutions or recommendations.
  • Align organizational development solutions to WSIB's Corporate Strategy, People strategy, organizational values, and competencies.
  • Provide expert advice, consultation, and stakeholder engagement to the Executive Committee and other Senior Management on various organizational development programs and initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to design and implement enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., HR Management, Applied Behavioural Sciences, Industrial Organizational Psychology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CHRL certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience with a focus on building organizational effectiveness and culture.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex ideas in a persuasive and compelling manner.
