Role Overview

The Lenovo Smart Collaboration Team is in search of a Lead Product Strategist with a robust background in video technologies. This role is pivotal as we innovate and redefine workplace collaboration solutions. You will oversee a segment of our product portfolio, engaging in market research, feature definition, product positioning, value proposition, and the achievement of financial targets. This position will report directly to the Worldwide Portfolio Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept through to planning, development, global launch, and end-of-life for video collaboration tools.
  • Leverage your extensive experience in video technology to spearhead the development of advanced video solutions.
  • Act as a representative of the Smart Collaboration business unit across various teams globally to meet objectives related to time, cost, product features, and innovation.
  • Compile product disclosures and competitive analysis reports to facilitate successful global launches.
  • Identify trends within the collaboration industry; analyze competitive landscapes and market data to support financial goals for Smart Collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with technology vendors to stay informed about technological advancements and product roadmaps, as well as strategizing go-to-market and demand generation activities.
  • Provide product communications to teams across the globe and jointly plan go-to-market strategies to enhance sales opportunities.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Product Management experience in the collaboration sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing enterprise products for both mature and emerging market needs within a global technology environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Comprehensive understanding of video conferencing systems, codecs, and associated hardware and software.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
