Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video System Development Leader to spearhead the evolution of our video conferencing product line. This role is pivotal in designing system architectures, developing innovative solutions, and overseeing the execution of our video conferencing technologies. This position offers the chance to influence the development of advanced video solutions in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team in analyzing the Market Requirements Document to thoroughly grasp customer expectations and product objectives.
  • Craft robust and scalable video system architectures that align with the MRD and overall product vision.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry advancements, technologies, and best practices to enhance our video conferencing offerings.
  • Oversee and manage the quarterly Video technology roadmap.
  • Collect customer insights, devise optimized solutions to elevate user experience, and strengthen the technical capabilities of the team to deliver competitive products and features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in camera architecture, including hardware platforms and embedded software.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++, with strong software design skills and project development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in end-to-end video stream pipelines for video conferencing systems.
  • Experience in IQ tuning and video algorithms, including 3A and HDR.
  • Familiarity with UVC/Ethernet camera transmission protocols and video codec technologies.
  • Background in AI model training and knowledge of mainstream deep learning architectures.
  • Experience with ISP NPU technology, model deployment processes, and scenario algorithms.
  • Forward-thinking with a solid understanding of the computer vision sector.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proactive, results-oriented, and innovative, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and accountability.

This position is based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC, with a hybrid work environment supporting both onsite and remote work arrangements.
