Job Overview

We are seeking a structural engineer to participate in the design, assessment and monitoring of structures for institutional, residential and commercial projects of various scales. As a structural engineer, you will design innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of building projects (assessments, field surveys, inspections, technical reports, drawings and specifications, construction supervision).
  • Design structural elements for various steel, concrete, wood or masonry structures.
  • Perform calculations using specialized software.
  • Contribute to the preparation of structural drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare quantity and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with architects, professionals, contractors and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent, with a major in structural engineering.
  • Title of engineer registered with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Three to five years' relevant experience in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional building structures.
  • Knowledge of standards and codes governing building structures in Québec.
  • Proficiency in ETABS, ADA, SAFE and Microsoft Office 365.
  • ASP Construction card.
  • Knowledge of Revit software (an asset).
  • Fluency in spoken and written French.
