Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at St-Amour. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing steel, reinforced concrete, and wood structures in compliance with codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and analyze structures of various sizes and budget.
  2. Develop and adapt steel, concrete, and wood frameworks for commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial projects.
  3. Ensure plans comply with project requirements and building codes.
  4. Supervise the preparation of plans and specifications.
  5. Coordinate ongoing work with project stakeholders.
  6. Participate in site meetings.
  7. Conduct surveys of existing installations.
  8. Write technical reports for expert assessments.
  9. Participate in construction supervision.
Requirements:
  1. Member of the OIQ.
  2. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or building engineering, with a focus on structures.
  3. Master's degree in structural engineering (asset).
  4. Experience in the consulting engineering field in Quebec will be considered an asset.
  5. Knowledge of ETABS, SAP, and SAFE software.
  6. Possession of a driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel (asset).
  7. Experience in Quebec required.
