Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at PIU Supply Chain Management as a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our products.
  • Schedule Distribution of Goods: Plan and coordinate the timely delivery of goods to our customers and partners.
  • Schedule Transportation Conveyances: Arrange for the transportation of goods to and from our warehouse, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Assemble Containers and Crates: Oversee the preparation of containers and crates for shipping, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured.
  • Maintain Internal Record-Keeping System: Accurately record and track all shipments, inventory, and warehouse activities.
  • Route Goods to Appropriate Storage Areas: Ensure that goods are stored in a safe and organized manner, with clear labeling and easy access.
  • Pack Goods to be Shipped: Prepare goods for shipping, including packaging and labeling as required.
  • Unpack Goods Received: Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring they are in good condition and accurately labeled.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading of Goods: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles and containers, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
  • Work Term: Permanent: Commit to a permanent role with our company.
  • Work Language: English: Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week: Work a standard 40-hour week, with flexibility to meet business needs.
