About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Roy's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dining establishment.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling
    • Ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are washed, sanitized, and stored properly.
    • Load and operate dishwashers to maintain optimal cleaning efficiency.
    • Scour pots and pans to remove stubborn food residue.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and sanitary manner.
  • General Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment
    • Urban area with a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency required.
