Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Portion and wrap foods according to established standards.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Keep records of food quantities used and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Take customers' orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Personal Qualities
- Client-focused and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and ability to work under pressure.
Our dining environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to work in a team environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, and maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
