Role Overview: Provide guidance to the Branch on health and safety protocols and their relevance to branch operations.

  • Serve as the designated contact within the branch for health and safety inquiries.
  • Act as the liaison for Head Office regarding any health and safety issues related to the branch.

Commitment: This position is ongoing and can be performed remotely, though attendance at in-person meetings may be required. Meetings may occur in the evenings or on weekends, with some conducted online. A minimum commitment of 6 months is expected, with an estimated time investment of 1-2 hours per month. Training will be provided for this role.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • No specific qualifications are necessary; however, the role involves collaboration with individuals and an understanding of safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of butterflies or moths is not a prerequisite.
  • Access to the internet and email is essential.
  • Your conduct should align with the values upheld by Butterfly Conservation.
