Lead Safety Advisor (heavy industrial industry experience required) Overview

Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Lead Safety Advisor to enhance their team near Ridgecrest, CA. Reporting directly to the Safety Manager, you will be tasked with the development and enhancement of health and safety protocols within their mining facility. Ideal candidates will possess experience in managing safety for highly hazardous materials, although those with a strong background in fostering a safety culture in heavy industrial environments are encouraged to apply. Lead Safety Advisor (heavy industrial industry experience required) Responsibilities


• Conduct regular safety assessments, identify hazards, and enforce safety regulations

• Enhance safety practices and policies as necessary

• Mentor staff on safety protocols and provide guidance to management on critical safety issues

• Ensure adherence to regulations and monitor safety performance

• Develop expertise in safety policies and programs

• Oversee injury reporting and management

• Deliver essential safety training to comply with regulatory standards

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate hazards to elevate safety standards

• Complete health and safety compliance documentation

• Monitor safety metrics and engage in incident investigations

• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in a heavy industrial or hazardous chemical environment required

• Strong background in OSHA regulations required

• Must be able to work onsite daily
