The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Nanaimo or Nanoose Bay office on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Planning, Hauling & Forest Protection.

The Role

  • Leadership and Asset Management

Provide oversight of all physical assets and logging operating infrastructure for Company operations, focusing on continuous improvement and superior results in safety, environmental stewardship, and sustainable management of timberlands.

Operational Support

Support operations with roads, bridges, and culvert installations planning and maintenance activities.

Strategic Planning

Assist the Operations team with short-term and long-term operational plans, annual budgets, contract management systems, negotiating rates, and resolving operational issues.

Capital Expenditures

Responsible for planning and managing annual Capital expenditures.

Community Relations

Maintain and foster good relationships with First Nations, government agencies, and industry players to preserve and enhance the Company's position within the industry and the overall community.

Asset Management Initiatives

Develop and implement asset management strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Experience in Capital Projects
  • Leadership and Project Management Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and GIS Software
  • Budget Management and Planning
