Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Guard Supervisor to join our team at SIGNAL 88 SECURITY OF LONDON ONTARIO. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our security services and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure our equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Client Support: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing a high level of customer service and support.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
  • Technical Support: Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and provide technical advice to staff as needed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, and implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed to support our operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers, and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Office Support: Supervise office and volunteer staff, and provide administrative support as required.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to work effectively in a team environment. You will need to be highly organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory role

Hours: 32 hours per week
