Security Supervisor

Job Summary:
Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at the London Public Library - Central Branch. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our patrons and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the activities of Site Guards and motivate them to provide high-quality service.
- Liaise with library management and community agencies to address security issues and implement instructions.
- Develop policies to improve security services and orientate and train new staff members.
- Assign special duties to guards and create and manage work schedules.
- Address performance problems and review incident reports.
- Respond to emergencies and maintain a high standard of civility and deportment.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard license and First Aid Level C Certificate.
- Exceptional customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, with a focus on customer service and good computer abilities.
