Job Title: Academic Instructor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to teach a course at Ontario Tech University. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction and a passion for teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a course that meets the needs of students and aligns with the university's academic goals
- Prepare and grade all course materials and assignments
- Provide feedback to students and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner
- Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate new ideas and technologies into the course
- Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to achieve academic goals
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field of study
- PhD is an asset
- Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in an Ontario pre-service teacher education program
- Experience working with digital technologies in the classroom
- Experience teaching in a virtual environment
