The Insurance Solutions division is tasked with the creation and distribution of advanced life and health insurance offerings to a vast clientele across Canada.
Reporting to the Director of Healthcare Operations, the Manager of Healthcare Operations will oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing and innovating our retail insurance offerings.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the execution of product development projects across our life (term, whole life, universal life) and health (critical illness, long-term care, personal health insurance) insurance sectors.
Product Development Responsibilities:
Lead product development projects from inception to launch, including client and advisor research, concept validation, business case development, project oversight, and realization of value.
Client and Advisor Insights:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on market trends, competitor strategies, and more. Utilize design-thinking methodologies to create innovative solutions through a human-centered approach.
Analytical Insights:
Examine both internal and external data to uncover trends and opportunities, developing innovative enhancements that drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the client and advisor experience.
Project Management Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector, ideally in product management or strategic roles.
~ Proficiency in financial and product performance analysis. Familiarity with the Canadian retail insurance market is advantageous.
~ Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation and visualization.
~ Excellent presentation and written communication abilities, with experience engaging senior leadership.
~ Self-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, managing diverse and changing priorities.
~ Experience in client research methodologies, including design thinking, survey creation, and focus group facilitation.
~ Strong relationship management capabilities – adept at collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization.
~ Comprehensive understanding of compliance and risk management – skilled at identifying potential risks in product design to ensure adherence to compliance frameworks.
~ Bilingualism (French and English) is required for roles involving frequent communication with diverse colleagues across Canada.
