Medical Director, Sexual Assault Service
Reporting to the Senior Medical Director, you will provide medical leadership and direction to the Sexual Assault Service at BC Women's. This role encompasses approximately FTE of clinical leadership and involves responsibility for quality of medical care, clinical standards, outcomes, and utilization management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Cultivate alliances with other hospitals and community agencies to coordinate and deliver provincial services through partnerships and networking.
- Lead staff, solve problems, achieve results, and develop coalitions.
- Maintain medical expertise and stay current on best practices in sexual assault care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to sexual assault services.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to healthcare professionals involved in sexual assault care.
Your Qualifications:
We seek a highly qualified physician with a demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and effective care for survivors of sexual assault. You possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
