Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Planning Lead to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our healthcare facilities are designed and constructed to meet the needs of our patients, clients, and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document space and infrastructure requirements for clinical services and programs
  • Lead the planning and design of healthcare facilities, working closely with clinical and operations teams
  • Collaborate with design consultants and external stakeholders to ensure that our facilities meet corporate standards and industry references
  • Conduct post-occupancy evaluations to assess the impact of our facilities on organizational objectives and patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical health science discipline
  • Seven years' recent related facility clinical planning experience in a large complex multi-site healthcare organization
  • Two years' leadership experience in the facility clinical planning role or health care project management
  • Professional Development Certification in planning and/or programming health care build environments

  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry references and resources for functional programming
  • Ability to lead, plan, direct, manage and implement change
