We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Planning Lead to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clinical service delivery operational parameters and apply knowledge and research of industry references/standards to define and document space and infrastructure requirements.
- Work with clinical operations leaders to ensure that models of care for clinical services and programs are well defined.
- Develop and document space and infrastructure requirements, including research, interpretation, and application of facilities planning standards and requirements.
- Provide leadership as a specialized resource on clinical facilities design.
- Work in close collaboration with clinical and operations teams to identify program and service requirements.
- Ensure the built environment includes corporate standards through participation of corporate subject matter experts in planning/design.
- Identify and establish appropriate team structure(s) and membership for initiatives.
- Lead clinical partners in the planning and design of facilities.
- Conduct post-occupancy evaluation of the built environment to assess the impact on organizational objectives for clinical service delivery (operations) and patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a clinical health science discipline.
- Seven years' recent related facility clinical planning experience in a large complex multi-site healthcare organization.
- Two years' leadership experience in the facility clinical planning role of health care facilities or health care project management.
- Professional Development Certification in planning and/or programming health care build environments.
- Leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Working knowledge of change and project management principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry references and resources for functional programming.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, direct, manage, and implement change.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health and business administration.
- Demonstrated ability to write business plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
