Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Planning Lead to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document space and infrastructure requirements for clinical services and programs
  • Lead the planning and design of the built environment for healthcare service delivery
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to identify program and service requirements
  • Work with design consultants and external stakeholders to plan and design facilities
  • Ensure the built environment meets corporate standards and guidelines
  • Conduct post-occupancy evaluations to assess the impact on organizational objectives and patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical health science discipline
  • Seven years' recent related facility clinical planning experience in a large complex multi-site healthcare organization
  • Two years' leadership experience in the facility clinical planning role or health care project management
  • Professional Development Certification in planning and/or programming health care build environments
Competencies
  • Leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework
  • Working knowledge of change and project management principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry references and resources for functional programming
  • Ability to lead, plan, direct, manage, and implement change
  • Strong analytical, evaluation, and reporting expertise
