Position Overview

The Culinary Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service offerings meet established quality control standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules for staff to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications

Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in food service management is preferred.
