About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at A&W (Uxbridge). As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession in an urban area.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
