Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Ponoka Physiotherapy and Acupuncture clinic.

About the Role

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients. This includes administering various massage techniques, such as soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and discomfort.

You will also be responsible for assessing clients, proposing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of treatments given.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy
  • Assess clients and propose treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments given
  • Explain procedures and risks to clients
  • Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body
Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
