As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint pain mobilizations.

You will assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests, and propose treatment plans tailored to their needs.

Excellent communication skills are essential to explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, and to maintain accurate records of treatments given.

Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a private practice setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
