We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Ponoka Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Treat Clients
Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
Administer Massage TechniquesUse a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations to alleviate pain and improve range of motion.
Communicate EffectivelyClearly explain treatment plans and procedures to clients, and provide education on self-care techniques to promote ongoing wellness.
Maintain Accurate RecordsKeep detailed records of treatments provided, including client progress and any changes to treatment plans.
Requirements- Certification
Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists is required.
ExperienceExperience as a Registered Massage Therapist is an asset, but not required.
LanguageFluency in English is required.
