Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Canadian national office, headquartered in Vancouver, BC, with a satellite office in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership to our organization and be accountable for its overall performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to our Canadian national office, driving growth and development in line with our mission and vision.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure new donors and manage existing donor networks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community leaders.
  • Oversee the operational management of our office, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective implementation of programs.
  • Collaborate with our international team to ensure alignment and consistency in our global operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, non-profit management, or international development.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or charitable organization.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor management, with a strong network of contacts in the philanthropic sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and internationally, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Command of the Chinese language (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), an asset.
  • Experience working with non-profit agencies in acquiring new donors and managing donor networks and systems that foster continued giving.
What We Offer
