Your Opportunity

Our Cloud Accounting Services team is seeking a bilingual Intermediate Associate to join our Ottawa and/or Manotick office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing full cycle accounting and bookkeeping services in a cloud-based environment
  • Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, journal entries, as well as handling accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Preparing regular external filings, such as HST completion of routine account analysis and bookkeeping assignments following established procedures
  • Preparing month end reporting packages, financial statements and related information
  • Responding to queries and correcting errors identified by Senior staff
  • Communicating regularly with our clients, government agencies and other staff members

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on, in-depth bookkeeping experience
  • Bilingual (English and French) proficiency
  • A post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Experience using software such as QuickBooks Online, Acomba and Sage 50 or similar operating systems is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
