Corporate Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal Assistant to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd. This is a full-time permanent role that requires a strong background in legal administration and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and prepare corporate documents, including letters, agreements, and resolutions, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Manage corporate minute books, complete corporate searches, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare transactional documentation for corporate financing, including authorizing resolutions, general security agreements, and statutory declarations.
  • Review and draft corporate documentation, including articles of incorporation, articles of amendment, and continuance.
  • Provide administrative support with respect to accounting and billing, including review of pre-bills and preparation of expense requisitions.
  • Maintain files in accordance with standard procedures, including opening and closing files, conflict searches, and other business-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience in a similar position in a Corporate Law practice.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Fastco, Cyberbahn, and Legal Accounting software.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and accurately on multiple files.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and high ethical standards.
