Security Operations Manager

As a Security Lead at Guardteck Security, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sites. Your responsibilities will include enforcing security standards, attending training and meetings, documenting incidents, and guiding guards in challenging situations. You will also be responsible for providing training and orientation to new employees, managing scheduling and attendance, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the site layout.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce Security Standards: Ensure that all security protocols are followed and that the site is secure at all times.
- Attend Training and Meetings: Participate in regular training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest security procedures and protocols.
- Document Incidents: Accurately document all incidents and report them to management with suggested solutions.
- Guide Guards: Provide guidance and support to guards in handling challenging situations efficiently and professionally.
- Provide Training and Orientation: Train and orient new employees on security procedures and protocols.
- Manage Scheduling and Attendance: Effectively manage scheduling and attendance to ensure that the site is adequately staffed at all times.
- Maintain Site Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the site layout and ensure that all security personnel are aware of it.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Fire and Life Safety requirements, Occupational Health and Safety regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Security Experience: 1-2 years of security experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
- Valid Security License: Valid Security License and First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Training and Certification: Completion of basic security training (e.g., Conflict Management, Use of Force) is an asset.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and a commitment to integrity.
