Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and experienced professional to join our team as a full-time Copywriter. The Copywriter will support our communications and marketing teams, clients, and creative members to develop content that effectively communicates the brand's message, resonates with the target audience, and drives engagement and conversion. The type of material will vary from paid media, organic content, Facebook, Google, annual reports, sales sheets, websites, landing pages, video direction, video scripts, emails, and more.

Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Develop persuasive, high-converting copy for various platforms, including paid media, organic content, Facebook, Google, annual reports, sales sheets, websites, landing pages, video scripts, emails, and more, with a focus on driving actions such as purchases, donations, or lead submissions.
  2. Analyze and optimize copy performance through A/B testing and data insights to improve conversion rates and engagement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, digital performance, marketing) to refine messaging and ensure alignment with campaign objectives and visuals.
  4. Write compelling headlines, ad copy, and CTAs tailored to capture attention and drive conversions across multiple platforms.
  5. Develop audience-specific strategies based on data, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in line with current media trends.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends to apply best practices in digital marketing and conversion optimization.
  7. Contribute to brainstorming and idea development for marketing campaigns that align with client goals and company standards.
  8. Prepare client briefs and pitch strategic ideas for advertising campaigns, helping plan and execute with precision.
  9. Manage multiple projects across various marketing initiatives, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of performance.
  10. Assist in research processes and create engaging copy across various platforms, including Facebook, Google, websites, and sales materials, ensuring adherence to client objectives and best practices.
  11. Present ideas and manage client relationships, ensuring client feedback is effectively integrated throughout the project.
  12. Work collaboratively with designers to ensure copy aligns with visuals and creative direction.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Writing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a copywriter.
  • Proficiency with core software such as Microsoft Office, Content Management Systems (CMS), Google Suite, etc.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms such as Facebook, Google, and email marketing tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (creative, digital performance, marketing).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in nonprofit marketing, particularly in creating compelling fundraising campaigns and donor engagement content.
  • Ability to adapt copy to different audience segments and channels, including social media, websites, and landing pages.
  • Experience drafting copy with proven conversion records and working across a full marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion, and engagement).
  • A fundamental understanding of the client revision process, and the ability to manage feedback and revisions effectively.
  • A general understanding of the Islamic audience and religion is preferred.
