Position Overview:

As a Creative Copy Director, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, crafting compelling narratives for one of the leading financial technology companies worldwide. Your role will involve collaborating with account managers, designers, fellow writers, and creative leaders, while also engaging closely with senior clients to create impactful digital marketing communications, including email campaigns, landing pages, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate high-quality written content across various digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive expression of ideas.
  • Provide innovative solutions to creative challenges and serve as a reliable resource for problem-solving.
  • Effectively communicate within a cross-functional team, leading presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted partner with a deep understanding of their brand.
  • Guide and mentor a team of senior copywriters, fostering their professional growth.
  • Champion strategically-driven ideas that align with client branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with Designers and Creative Leads, as well as team members in Account and Technology.
  • Maintain a focus on detail, quality, and timely delivery of creative work.
  • Consistently produce exceptional creative outputs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Act as an advocate for our organizational culture and values.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of copywriting experience in an agency setting, with a focus on B2C and/or B2B communications. Experience with technology brands is preferred, and FinTech experience is a plus.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative versatility and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in email and digital campaigns.
  • Proven ability to adhere to brand and messaging guidelines while delivering original and high-quality work.
  • Expertise in crafting engaging headlines and clear, concise body copy.
  • Familiarity with data-driven marketing concepts, including targeting, personalization, and programmatic advertising.
  • Resourcefulness in distilling complex information into clear messaging strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Slides) and a basic understanding of design principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to address complex creative challenges.
  • Proficiency in managing projects from conception to execution.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting work to clients and collaborating through shared documents.
  • Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience working directly with clients, presenting ideas, and collaborating closely on projects.

Compensation:

Monks Associates Inc offers a competitive salary range of $105,000—$120,000 CAD, based on job-related factors.
