About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Copywriter and Team Lead to join our team at DEPT. As a key member of our Creative Department, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality copy and content across key accounts, including Opendoor.

This is a full-time, 6-month temporary contract role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality copy and content across key accounts
  • Manage and mentor junior copywriters and designers to ensure consistency and quality across all projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of client objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our copy and content remains innovative and effective
  • Contribute to the development of our creative strategy and vision, ensuring our copy and content aligns with our brand values and objectives
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a senior copywriting or creative leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality copy and content that drives results
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
  • Strong understanding of marketing and content principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business results
