Position Overview

The seasonal photographer will travel to various educational institutions to conduct photo day sessions. The photographer will be tasked with capturing images of both children and adults. The ideal candidate should be a motivated individual with a passion for photography and a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Capture a diverse range of subjects, including individual and group photos of children and adults
  2. Set up and dismantle professional photography equipment
  3. Coordinate the photo session day at schools to ensure a smooth operation
  4. Address various requests from school administrators, teachers, and students
  5. Receive training to develop into a professional photographer
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  1. Photography experience is preferred but not mandatory
  2. Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills
  3. Able to manage multiple and shifting priorities
  4. Experience working with children is advantageous
  5. Background in retail and customer service is beneficial
  6. Reliable transportation is necessary, with the capability to transport professional photographic equipment. A valid driver's license and car insurance are required
  7. As this role involves interaction with children in educational settings, successful candidates must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  8. Must have legal authorization to work in Canada

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  1. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  2. Ability to push up to 60 lbs using provided equipment
  3. Capability to stand, walk, and bend repetitively for extended periods
  4. Travel required within the designated region
  5. Work environment includes schools from Kindergarten to High School
