The Role

The seasonal photographer will visit various schools to conduct school photo sessions. The photographer will need to photograph both children and adults. The successful candidate must be a motivated, photography-passionate, and customer-service-oriented individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Photograph a variety of subjects, children and adults, individually or in groups
  • Set up and take down professional photography equipment
  • Coordinate the photo shoot day at the school to ensure an efficient day
  • Respond to various requests from school administrators, teachers, and students
  • Receive training to become a professional photographer
  • Other assigned tasks

Requirements

  • Experience in photography is not required but is preferred
  • Strong customer orientation and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple changing priorities
  • Experience working with children is an asset
  • Experience working in retail and customer service is an asset
  • Candidates must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting professional photography equipment. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required
  • Given that this position involves working with children in a school setting, selected candidates must pass a vulnerable sector check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
