About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Planner to join our team at oilandgas. As a Senior Project Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning and scheduling activities of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  2. Prepare and update project schedules, resource requirements reports, and provide guidance to junior planners.
  3. Monitor and control project progress against schedules, identify and explain variances, and communicate to project stakeholders.
  4. Interface with project control teams to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and cost controllers to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

  1. University degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business administration).
  2. 10+ years of experience in project planning, cost control, and project management.
  3. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6).
  4. Strong knowledge of project management techniques, including critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value technique.
  5. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work well with clients, staff, and project teams to achieve project objectives.
