Position Overview

As an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in providing immediate assistance during critical medical situations. Working within a dynamic call center environment, you will serve as the essential link between individuals experiencing emergencies, dispatch teams, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service under pressure, demonstrating adaptability and composure in rapidly evolving circumstances.
  • Effectively prioritize and resolve issues while maintaining clear and concise communication with all parties involved.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and demonstrate leadership qualities within the team environment.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Indigenous culture and history, ensuring culturally sensitive interactions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications are required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety principles
  • Previous call center experience is an asset

Recruitment Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will participate in virtual testing and a personality assessment.
  • Following the assessments, candidates will engage in an observation shift and a behavioral interview.
