As an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in providing immediate assistance during critical medical situations. Working within a dynamic call center environment, you will serve as the essential link between individuals experiencing emergencies, dispatch teams, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service under pressure, demonstrating adaptability and composure in rapidly evolving circumstances.
- Effectively prioritize and resolve issues while maintaining clear and concise communication with all parties involved.
- Cultivate strong relationships and demonstrate leadership qualities within the team environment.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Indigenous culture and history, ensuring culturally sensitive interactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications are required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety principles
- Previous call center experience is an asset
Recruitment Process
- Shortlisted candidates will participate in virtual testing and a personality assessment.
- Following the assessments, candidates will engage in an observation shift and a behavioral interview.
