Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at 13315401 Canada Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Security Measures: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network efficiency and security.
- Optimization and Maintenance: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure smooth operation of our systems.
- Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure seamless integration with our network infrastructure.
- Technical Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and designers, providing expert technical assistance and guidance.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Administrator who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, computer systems, and security, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Experience working in a construction company or similar industry.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of networking software, networking security, security software, programming software, and database software.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.
