About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at 13315401 Canada Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Security Measures: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network efficiency and security.
  • Optimization and Maintenance: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure seamless integration with our network systems.
  • Technical Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers, providing expert technical assistance and guidance.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Administrator who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 1-2 people and working closely with our IT department to ensure the smooth operation of our network systems.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of networking software, networking security, security software, programming software, and database software.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.
