Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Blaine Lake Esso. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the management of store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain a secure and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyzing sales trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
    • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring that they are within budget.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
    • Permanent employment
    • English language proficiency
    • 35 to 40 hours per week
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
