About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Lending Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our PPS Manager and LPS Leadership team to drive strategic direction and align with our organization's vision, mission, and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach assigned team members and provide ongoing support in their day-to-day tasks.
  • Verify EFTs, transfers, and wires via various banks within authority level.
  • Oversee the daily operation of property taxes internally and manage vendor relationships.
  • Manage and troubleshoot assigned incoming ad-hoc investigative enquiries concerning funding, payments, and all aspects of servicing.
  • Maintain digital file records and upload documents to portal libraries for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Liaise with various internal departments and external partners, including insurance consultants, CMHC, and servicer partners.
  • Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of Mortgage policies and procedures on the Portal, company policies and procedures, and the CMHC servicing manual.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in the financial services industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within a mortgage or loan administration department.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
  • Good financial acumen with up-to-date knowledge of industry changes.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe catalog.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
  • Agile Project exposure would be an asset.

What We Offer

Peoples Trust is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $60,000 and $70,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience of the chosen candidate.
