Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lending and Portfolio Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing lending and portfolio services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify EFTs, transfers, and wires via various banks, within authority level.
  • Process property taxes on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Support all aspects of daily, monthly, and annual mortgage and consumer lending.
  • Facilitate funding, payment, and processing support for commercial funding.
  • Liaise with various internal departments, as well as external partners, regarding ongoing payments.
  • Facilitate internal/external customer and investor relations and relationship management.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Mortgage policies and procedures on the Portal, company policies and procedures, and the CMHC servicing manual.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in an administrative setting.
  • Strong relationship building and customer service experience with excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe catalog.
  • Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines and is able to prioritize tasks in a changing environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar position within a mortgage or loan administration department would be an asset.
  • Reconciliation experience an asset.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $53,000 and $60,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
