POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking part-time Customer Service Representatives for our Customer Care Centre. This role may offer the flexibility of remote work, allowing for a better work/life balance.

The Customer Service Representatives will serve as the main point of contact for SaskPower, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with efficiency and courtesy.

Applicants should be prepared to meet call centre performance metrics and targets.

TRAINING:

Our comprehensive training program spans 8 weeks, during which participants are expected to attend full-time sessions. Training is fully compensated.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


• Deliver front-line service and information regarding corporate services, rates, regulations, and policies for both phone and in-person inquiries.

• Investigate and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and outage notifications, directing them to the appropriate resources as needed.

• Process payments, issue refunds, prepare invoices, and initiate contact for payment production and collection.

• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while adhering to corporate quality standards.

• Assess customer needs through effective questioning techniques.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of departmental systems, processes, policies, and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.

• Manage incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring proper distribution and preparation.

• Maintain accurate files and records related to departmental activities.

• Assist in developing training materials for the department.

• Perform general accounting and financial tasks as required.

• Engage in continuous professional development and education as necessary.

• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


• A Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of experience in administrative or customer service roles, utilizing standard corporate software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues and the public.

• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

• Capability to make sound decisions and implement solutions effectively.

• Proficiency in standard corporate software applications (e.g., Microsoft, SAP).

• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
