Position Overview

As a Business Manager at Oceans Fresh Food Market, you will play a pivotal role in steering our operational strategies and enhancing our market presence. This permanent position demands a commitment of 37.5 hours per week and requires a Master's degree along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

You will be working in a dynamic setting within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, specifically focusing on supermarket and grocery store operations.

Financial Responsibilities

Your role will involve managing a budget ranging from $500,001 to $1,500,000, ensuring financial efficiency and strategic allocation of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze market research data to enhance business decisions.
  • Conduct surveys to identify potential markets for our products.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Oversee marketing strategies and direct team efforts in research and data gathering.
  • Evaluate and refine communication and marketing strategies.
  • Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Manage contracts and oversee budget planning and expenditures.
  • Coordinate special events and promotional activities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital database.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory costs and pricing strategies.
Supervisory Role

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals, including contractors and staff across various functions.

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and data analysis software is essential for success in this role.

Specialization Areas

Your expertise should encompass Business Analysis, Market Research, Marketing, and Strategic Planning.
