About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Module Sales Manager/Director to join our team at Talesun Solar Technologies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the solar module market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges in the solar module market. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on these findings and drive business growth.
  • Business Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, installers, consultants, and other industry professionals. Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new customers and expand existing relationships.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets through effective sales planning, execution, and follow-up. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales objectives.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of regional marketing initiatives, including exhibitions, presentations, and product launches. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure effective communication and promotion of our products and services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, sales trends, and areas for improvement. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to address any challenges.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points. Develop and implement solutions to address these challenges and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in product and schedule expectations. Participate in final product design reviews to assess product quality and ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Provide input and feedback to improve processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least five years of working experience in the solar module sales industry, with specific experience working with manufacturers or selling solar modules to developers and EPCs.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of sales and business development experience, with a strong ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial reports, including budgetary guidelines and product expenditures.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial background in a sales capacity, with a strong ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Critical Thinking: High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work independently and proactively without supervision.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementing skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as required.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
