About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team at Synpulse. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership in data engineering and analytics, mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Architecting data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure high data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable data solutions.
  • Troubleshooting data issues, implementing data solutions, and successfully delivering data projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the data and AI space to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics, with a strong background in delivering data projects in financial institutions or enterprise firms.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of current trends, business models, and emerging architectures in data engineering and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with extensive experience in Spark and big data technologies, strong experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data platform solutions.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of Palantir Foundry is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex data challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in driving business-technology decisions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and all aspects of the data project lifecycle.

It's a plus if you have:

  • Experience working with LLMs and LangChain.
  • Experience with client-facing integration, implementation engineering, or solution architecture roles in B2B software product companies.
  • Experience leading projects across teams and regions.
  • Knowledge of financial services and/or insurance industries.
