Senior Commercial Lending Leader

Job Summary
This is a senior leadership role within the Commercial Banking team at Royal Bank of Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of commercial lending specialists to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the commercial lending team to achieve business objectives and deliver high-quality client service.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth, improve client relationships, and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and senior leaders.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure team members are equipped to meet business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to ensure the team is well-informed and compliant.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of commercial lending and banking experience, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Excellent financial, credit, and accounting skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in both languages.
