Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Track Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Woodbine Entertainment Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our racing circuit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the work of maintenance teams to ensure that all track-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Projects and activities to ensure that all deadlines are met and that the track is always in a safe and operational condition.
  • Train and Develop maintenance staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Requisition and Manage materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure that the track is always well-maintained and operational.
  • Lead and Instruct individuals to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting: The track and field environment can be physically demanding and requires a high level of physical fitness.
  • Transportation/Travel: A valid driver's license is required.
