Strategic Procurement Leader

We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Leader to enhance Hootsuite's global purchasing framework. In this role, you will engage in organization-wide cost reduction strategies, strategic sourcing, and procurement operations aimed at boosting Hootsuite's profitability. This position allows for remote or hybrid work arrangements, combining virtual interactions with in-office collaboration, while reporting to the Senior Manager of Procurement, Proposals, and Customer Assurance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and oversee procurement activities across the organization, serving as a central point of contact that integrates business partners with Hootsuite's control functions, including Finance, IT, Legal, and Privacy.
  • Advise various organizational levels, including senior executives, on purchasing priorities, technology requirements, and negotiation tactics.
  • Design and implement purchasing processes that enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze systems to generate data-driven insights into organizational spending, using these insights to refine processes and execution continually.
  • Oversee and optimize the consolidated software budget, ensuring value, accountability, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders to enhance the company's intake-to-pay workflow.
  • Facilitate revenue growth by leading sales RFPs and developing comprehensive processes that empower the sales team to succeed in RFP execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Significant experience in procurement or purchasing, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Practical experience in SaaS procurement, with a solid understanding of hardware procurement.
  • A degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field; additional qualifications such as CSCP or SCMP certifications are advantageous.
